The company Josef Lidl was created already 1892 and is the oldest music instrument manufacturer in Maehren ( Czech Republic ). All sheet metal wind instruments manufactured after developed technology, which is superior to other manufacturers by over 100-yaers tradition and experience. All instruments are handmade and are characterised by outstanding pure sound, excellent tendency and light speech. Prominently the company LIDL is world-wide also with the building of frenchhorn, it monthly approx 400 pieces frenchhorn is delivered. The first double frenchhorn developed already in the year 1905. |

During the Austria-Hungarian monarchy all military bands were already equipped with Lidl instruments.
